ABOUT THE RESORT

Barefoot Bay Marina and RV Resort is a family friendly waterfront resort located at the FM 1520 bridge on Lake Bob Sandlin, a 9,400 acre lake. The property is just 4 miles west of Pittsburg, Texas on the south side of the Lake. Lake Bob Sandlin is very unique for Texas in that it is connected to Cypress Springs Lake and Lake Monticello by earth dams.

The marina has been in continuous operation since 1980 and sits in Barefoot Bay Cove. The property consists of a full service convenience store, 40 covered wet slips that accommodate boats of all sizes and lengths up to 25 ft, 79 waterfront RV spaces having 30 & 50 amp electrical with full hookups and completely renovated men’s and women’s restrooms, 7 cabins and a wide boat ramp.

Barefoot Bay Marina has a beach and swimming area, clubhouse, fishing areas, sand volleyball and horseshoe pits. The convenience store has pizza, beer & wine, ice, self serve gas, diesel, dock side gasoline, all major convenience items, fishing tackle section, RV supplies and free air and water. We carry a wide array of live bait as well as top of the line bass fishing baits and soft plastics. The property is under new ownership as of July 2019 and has been newly-updated. Lake Bob Sandlin is a beautiful lake and fisherman’s paradise. Walmart is conveniently located only 15 minutes away. The lake offers year around fishing and has the best angling opportunities of any lake in Texas. There is something for everyone at Barefoot Bay Marina. Come have some fun in the sun with us.

We are open seven days a week from 6:00am to 10:00pm, May through August and 7:00am to 9:00pm Sun - Thurs and 7:00am to 12:00am Fri and Sat, September through April.
